How may I help?
People seek therapy for many reasons. You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand yourself better. Here are some of the areas I commonly support people with:
- ADHD and neurodiversity (post-diagnostic support/later life diagnosis; advice on reasonable adjustment at work/university)
- Anxiety, worry, and stress management
- Burnout and emotional exhaustion
- Coping with transitions and life changes (including immigration and cross-cultural adaptation)
- Depression and low mood
- Distress and challenges associated with Maladaptive Daydreaming
- Feeling lost or disconnected, struggling to find purpose or direction
- Loss, grief, and bereavement
- Perfectionism, self-criticism, and people-pleasing patterns
- Physical health challenges (e.g. COPD, cardiac conditions) and their emotional impact
- Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
- Struggles with confidence, self-esteem, or self-worth
- Study, exam, or work-related stress and performance anxiety
- Trauma and difficult past experiences
Many people believe they need to have a clear diagnosis or fit a specific label before seeking therapy. The truth is, life itself can be complex and difficult, and sometimes, just holding it all together feels like more than enough. You don’t need to have the right words or a fixed reason to reach out. I’m here to explore things with you, at your pace, and help make sense of whatever feels heavy or uncertain.
I practice in English and Chinese (Cantonese). I offer both online (Zoom / Teams) and Face-to-Face Appointments (Central St Albans and West Hampstead in London).
